Matej Bujna – BYTEFINITE (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates, (“Websites”), (“Forums”), Alarm-o-Byte, Music Byte, Timefinite (“Application”, “Applications”) and other services available trough our products (collectively “Services”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, disclose and use Personal Information from our users (“users”, “you” or “your”). We value and respect your privacy and we do our best to be clear and transparent about what information we collect from our users. 1. What information we collect and how is it used?

We collect information to provide better services to our users by fixing reported problems and improving least visited areas of our services.


1.1 Automatically Collected Information

Log Data

In case of an error or bug in our applications we collect data and information through Google Firebase Crash Reporting on your device called log data. This log data may include information such as stack trace, device type, operating system version, the configuration of our applications at the time of crash, the time and date of crash, and other statistics. This data does not include any sensitive information that could be used to identify you.



Cookies are files with small amount of data stored on your computer or mobile device that can help identify your browser and store certain information. We use cookies to improve overall user experience in our services and we will maintain this information only for statistical purposes.

Websites – Our Websites does not use “cookies” explicitly. However, we may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collection information and to improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Services.

Mobile Devices – We use Google Firebase Analytics to help us understand how you use our mobile applications. Google Firebase Analytics use cookies, identifiers for mobile devices (e.g., Android Advertising Identifier) or similar technology that are used to collect data when you interact with certain parts of the our applications to create statistics for us. For example it can tell us what kind of device you are using, what parts of application you use most and all sorts of general information. By providing us with information how you interact with our applications, you help us learn how to improve them to create even better experience. You can turn Google Firebase Analytics off at any time in applications Settings.


Device permissions

Our applications requests certain permissions that allow it to access device data. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, please refer to the device settings or contact us. Please note that revoking of such permissions might impact the proper functioning of our applications.


Phone Permission (READ_PHONE_STATE) – Used for accessing a host of typical features associated with telephony. Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any Phone Accounts registered on the device. we are using this permission to detect incoming phone call to pause audio or lower volume.

Storage Permission – Used for accessing shared external storage. we are using this permission to save and restore backups and to work with audio files on external storage.


1.2 User Provided Information

Contact forms and emails

If you send us email or contact form, we may retain your email address and content of your message in order to respond to your questions and requests.


Public and Community Areas

If you decide to register on our forums, you will have to select user name, password and provide an email address. You may provide other optional information which will be visible to other users. You can modify this information at any time in forums settings. All the information that you display, write or post on our forums or community areas is considered to be public when it is posted. We have no control how this information is used and as such it is no subject of this Privacy Policy. Please do not post any personally identifying or sensitive information in this areas. Any personal information you post in public areas will be considered non confidential and it may also increase your chances of receiving unwanted communications.


2. Third-Party Links

Our Websites and Services may contain links to websites that are not under our direct control. Clicking on such link will take you to a third-party website. Please note that these websites are not operated by us and are not subject to this Privacy Policy. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

We are committed to protect security of your Personal Information and take reasonable precautions to protect it. Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your devices, computer and passwords (signing off when finished using shared computer, choosing strong password and keeping your login information private). We are not responsible for any activity on your account or devices with unauthorized access.


4. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without consent of their parent or guardian. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us so we can obtain parental consent or remove such data.

As our products evolve, we may need to update our Privacy Policy. We will post any revisions to our privacy policy with their effective date on this page and we will provide more prominent notice if we make any significant changes.
